Description: A degree in Economics provides training in the factors that determine production, distribution and consumption of goods and services. The programme provides a sound training in the use of modern technological tools to master fundamentals of economic theory and its practise. The candidate will be exposed to the study of basic elements of economics including interactions between individual agents and markets. The training will also involve the analyses of the entire economy and issues affecting it including unemployment of resources (labour, capital and land), inflation, economic growth and public policies that address the issues-(monetary and fiscal).
